GRWM: Christmas Party Edition

Hello there, do come in and make yourself cosy. Today I’m gonna be doing a little Get Ready With Me Christmas party style! I’m gonna show you make up, perfume and outfit for my staff Christmas do this year. I hope it gives you some inspiration if you need it and I will show you how I like to present myself on the miracle of me going on a night out!

Skincare:

  • Body shop Chamomile oil cleanser
  • Body shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution
  • Body Shop Vitamin E Day Lotion with SPF 30
  • Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask
  • Make up:

    Base:-

For my base make up I used the ELF Glow Lotion on the perimeters of my face and then the Benefit Porefessional primer in the centre of my face to reduce my pores and oiliness. For my foundation I mixed the Revolution Conceal and Define Foundation in the shade F6.5 and the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in the shade Ivory together, I applied it to be centre of my face with my fingers and then brushed it outwards using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and then dabbed over it with an L.A Girl PRO Sponge to absorb any of the excess foundation. I only applied a thin layer of foundation so that when it started to wear off on my skin it wasn’t too obvious and crazy looking. I then set my base make up using the Revolution Lace Powder to make sure it all stayed in place

    Face:

For my face make up I used Benefit Hoola Bronzer to warm up the perimeters of my face very lightly, Milani Luminoso Blush to give myself a warm peachy golden glow and the top right hand shade of Revolution x Soph Highlighter palette to highlight slightly. I also then sprayed my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray so that my make up would stay on all night and I wouldn’t have to worry about it.

    Eyes:

For my eyes I used the Revolution Velvet Rose palette as I wanted to go very neutral with my eyes for the party. I primed my eyelids with the foundations I was using and set them with the Revolution Lace Powder. From the Velvet Rose palette I used shades 13&14 which are some neutral brown shades all over the lid and in the crease. I added a inner corner highlight using the gold shade from the Soph Highlighter palette, to add some brightness to my eyes. I then used the Bad Gal Bang mascara from Benefit on my lashes and that was it for the eyes. For my eyebrows I just combed them through with Benefit Gimme Brow in shade 3, to give them some definition and colour which is important since I wear dark framed glasses.

    Lips:

For my lips I just wore the Dr Paw Paw lip balm because my lips were so dry and since they have a lot of pigment to them anyways I thought I would go without lipstick.

    Hair:

For my hair I straightened it using GHD Straighteners and bringing back some moisture using the Aussie 3 Miracle oil reconstructor and brushed it out using my Wet Brush.

    Perfume:

Tonight I wore the Terry Mugler Alien perfume which is so nice and lingers on skin, hair and clothes for a decent amount of time

    Outfit:

For my outfit I wore the Metallic Plunge Long Sleeve Top from boohoo with black stretch skinny jeans from Sainsbury’s and heeled Chelsea boots from primark.
